About tariffs and shipping to the US

Dear US customers,

When we started on Etsy back in 2009, we were quickly discovered by wonderful people who loved glass and/or fairies. Over the years, we’ve had such warm and kind interactions with many lovely people across the Atlantic. We’ve received heartfelt messages and even thoughtful gifts from collectors who have come to know us through the years.

This kindness has always been a big source of motivation for us—sharing a bit of magic and fantasy with homes across the ocean.

It saddens us deeply that, at the moment, we’re unable to ship to the US.

The tariffs imposed by the US government have had a major impact on our Etsy shop. We are just one of thousands of European makers facing the same challenge. Since 90% of our customers are based in the US, we’re still figuring out the best way forward.

The Dutch postal service has partially resumed shipping to the US, but only for those registered as official businesses. As we both have other day jobs, it’s not financially feasible for us to register as a formal business. This means we cannot open a business account with the postal service. Using alternative shipping services would make the beads far too expensive—and we don’t want that for you.

We are doing our best to find a solution and make shipping to the US possible again. It may take some time, and we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience.
